Originally started as a mobile disco business in the early 1990s by ex pro drummer Ray Brearton, Nightshift Entertainment
provided professional music to hotels and venues in and around the Yorkshire area.
At the end of 2003, the opportunity
arose for the business to be bought by employee and good friend Paul Smith.

A former professional sportsman, Paul had worked with Nightshift over a number of years "DJing" and "MCing"
at various events and functions. His aim was to expand the company and provide all aspects of entertainment to the highest
standard.
Paul now own's and runs the business and brings to it his vast experience from over 15
years as a "DJ" and "MC" to live bands, bars and management for other worldwide entertainment
companys.
